PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilaster section design assisting apparatus and a pilaster section design assisting program for preparing the concrete cross section drawing of a pilaster section and a footing beam and enabling a designer to easily design the pilaster section. SOLUTION: This pilaster section design assisting apparatus for preparing the image data of the cross section drawing of a pilaster section 6 being an object to be designed is provided with: a storage means for storing basic information including members to be used for the pilaster section 6 and a footing beam 13 connected to the pilaster section; an input means for selecting members to be used for the pilaster section 6 and the footing beam 13 from the basic information stored in the storing means, and for inputting pilaster section information; and an image data preparing means for preparing the image data of the cross section of the pilaster section based on the selected members and the pilaster section information.
