PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rising of the temperature of a caliper body and a brake fluid by heat generated in braking in a disk brake device. SOLUTION: Air energized by the rotating force of a rotating disk rotor 1 from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the disk rotor 1 is bypassed to the rear side of a brake pad 7 through a clearance 10 and fed to a hollow cylindrical piston 13. Cutouts 13w are formed, at equal intervals, at the end side wall end of the piston 13 in contact with the brake pad 7. Air flows from the cutouts 13w into the piston 13, passes the inside of the piston 13 in a stroke direction while cooling the inside wall of the piston 13, and flows out from a flowout tube 13p fitted to one end of the piston 13 at one end apart from the brake pad 7. By cooling the entire part of the piston 13 in a caliper 11, the rise of the temperature of a caliper body 11 and the rise of the temperature of the brake fluid in a fluid chamber 14 can be suppressed.
