PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter apparatus for artificial insemination of excellent insertion operability combining both flexibility and stiffness and capable of sucking the whole quantity of a washed and condensed sperm suspension and injecting the whole quantity into the uterine cavity while preventing the outflow of the sperm suspension from the opening of uterus when injecting the sperm suspension by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This catheter apparatus for artificial insemination is constituted by mounting a stylet 6 inside a catheter of hollow cylindrical shape having a fine diameter part 2 forming a distal end, an enlarged diameter part 3 forming a proximal end, and a tapered part 4 for connecting the fine diameter part to the enlarged diameter part, and having open ends at both ends.
