PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which allows various kinds of information items to be attached with an image in response to a request of a user without impairing the convenience of the user. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 includes: an image processing means 4 for digitalizing an image imaged by an imaging means 3; an information attaching means 2 for attaching memo information related to the digitized image to the digitized image data by the image processing means 4; and an image recording means 7 for recording the image with the memo information attached thereto by the information attaching means 2 to a recording medium 8. Further, the digital camera 1 includes: a reference destination setting means 2 for setting a reference destination of the memo information; and an information generating means 2 for generating a plurality of kinds of memo information items according to the reference destination set by the reference destination setting means 2.
