PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specification approval system capable of attaining labor saving and of ensuring an approval by digitizing a specification drawing to be approved and performing the approval thereto on a communication network. SOLUTION: This system comprises a drawing formation terminal 1, a WEB server 2 having a specification database 5 for storing a specification drawing corresponding to a drawing number transmitted from the drawing formation terminal and an ID database preliminarily storing the ID data of an approver, and an approver terminal 3. The approver terminal 3 transmits ID data to the WEB server 2 based on an approval request of specification drawing from the terminal 1, and the WEB server 2 collates the ID data transmitted from the terminal 3 with the ID data preliminarily stored in the ID database, displays the specification drawing stored in the specification database 5 as a homepage, when the collation result is matched, to enable the access from the approver terminal side. The WEB server further receives the specification drawing with an approval result from the approver written therein, and transmits the approval result to the drawing formation terminal.
