PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a liquid discharging device which efficiently carries out a forming process and a reading process of a pattern for correction to correct a dot formation position deviation in a main scanning direction, to realize a pattern reading method, and to realize a liquid discharging system. SOLUTION: Each of sub patterns set in the pattern for correction is read by a reading means at the time when a feed amount of a medium sent by a feeding mechanism after the pattern for correction is formed to the medium by a discharging head reaches a predetermined amount.
