HYDROFORMING METHOD FOR COMPONENT HAVING BOTH ELEMENT OF PIPE EXPANDING ELEMENT AND BRANCH PROJECTING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which hydroforming with excellent accuracy can be executed to a component composed of a shape having both elements of a pipe expanding element and a branch projecting element in conformity with a die shape. SOLUTION: A first hydroforming for molding an intermediate body is executed as follows. The intermediate body Q is so molded that a branch projecting part 11 is molded into the final shape by setting a tube stock P to the inside of a die 1A provided with a cavity 2 for molding the branch projecting part. After that, a second hydroforming for molding a pipe expanding part 12 is executed as follows. The pipe expanding part 12 is molded into the final shape by setting the obtained intermediate body Q to the inside of a die 1B provided with a cavity 3 for molding the pipe expanding part.
