PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device for satisfying the requirement of high-speed working by increasing the rigidity of guide posts for supporting a slide and suppressing the total weight of the slide. SOLUTION: This press device is provided with the slide 10 which is reciprocatively moved by the rotation of the crankshaft, the guide posts 24 which are fixed to the press device body and sleeve-shaped members 30 for supporting the slide 10 to the guide posts 24. A pressure fluid chamber for supporting the sleeve-shaped members 30 with the pressure fluid and and a relief groove for releasing the pressure fluid are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve-shaped members 30. Fluid supplying flow passages 66b, 66f for supplying the fluid to the pressure fluid chamber of the sleeve-shaped member 30 are provided on the guide posts 24. The fluid from a fluid supply source is supplied to the pressure fluid chamber of the sleeve-shaped member 30 through the fluid supply flow passages 66b, 66d of the guide posts 24.
