A numeric controller capable of performing chopping control machining without providing an additional axis dedicated to chopping and provided, at the interpolating section (12) and the axis controlling section (13), with a movement data generating function and a chopping operation correcting function for controlling two or more control axes simultaneously in the chopping operation so that the chopping operation can be corrected while taking account of the movement error including the contour control of a positioning axis or a rotational axis.
