<p>The wheel has a rim connected via spokes to a plate on a central hub. The rim (27) has drawn formed side faces (28) along the periphery, with outer inward facing surfaces. These support a self-clamping mainly semi-circular tread layer (29), which acts as tire. Alternatively, a tire with tread layer is held self-clamping on the rim. The tire has edge profiles, and clamping rings with corresponding ring-shaped retainer profiles are fitted into the profiles. The rings are connected to each other or the plate, or to an inner ring of the rim. Hub and/or end walls (14,23) holding the spokes, are of plastic.</p> |
