<p>The present invention relates to a charging device for various types of mobile phones and a method of controlling the same. The charging device and method of the present invention can automatically charge all types o batteries. A plurality of contact terminals are provided on the housing of the charging device, a mobile phone is mounted on the charging device, the voltages of the contact terminals are automatically checked by a microcomputer, and a current is applied to contact terminals, which correspond to positive input terminals, through a charging circuit. Accordingly, the charging device can be used regardless of the types of mobile phones, so that cost reduction can be achieved.</p> |
