<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester nonwoven fabric capable of maintaining its washing resistance for a long period even by repeating washing in a home and linen washing in a hospital. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrophilic polyester nonwoven fabric is produced through a first stage hydrophilic treatment process of spraying a hydrophilic treating agent consisting mainly of a polyester-polyether block copolymer on the surface of a polyester fiber, a first heat-treatment process of heat-treating the obtained polyester fiber at 100-220°C temperature for 5-15 min, a nonwoven fabric-forming process of producing the fabric with the obtained polyester fiber, a second hydrophilic treatment process of immersing the nonwoven fabric in the same hydrophilic treating agent used in the first hydrophilic treatment process and a second heat-treatment process of heat-treating at 100-220°C for 5-15 min. The obtained hydrophilic polyester nonwoven fabric maintains approximately 90 % hydrophilicity of that of before washing even on repeating the washing by 30 times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
