摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator array for a high-resolution CT imaging in which a susceptibility for positioning a photodiode array (52) and/or a collimator assembly (59) is made small. SOLUTION: A non-pixel type scintillator array (56) for a CT detector (10) comprises a plurality of ceramic fibers (88) or a single crystal fiber arranged mutually in parallel. So a dose efficiency of a pack (86) becomes very high. Each fiber is designed so as to make a scatter loss small and to emit light into the photodiode (60). A dimension (diameter of cross section) of the fiber is made finer for a higher-resolution use, so the dimension of the fiber can be made uniform over the whole scintillator array.
