PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed-change controller changing the speeds of the auxiliary transmission of an automatic transmission in starting so that the output of the automatic transmission is not excessively increased or decreased. SOLUTION: When S5 determines a drive wheel slip ratio to be ¾Slip¾≥β, S6 determines the selected speed-change stage of the auxiliary transmission at a high-speed stage so that delicate acceleration operation is not required on a lowμroad. When S10 determines that an accelerator opening is APO≥γ(γis a set opening reduced more when the road surface gradient of an ascending road is steeper), S11 determines the selected speed-change stage of the auxiliary transmission at a low-speed stage. By this, in the starting when an accelerator pedal is largely depressed, the automatic transmission can output a large torque as requested. When S10 determines to be APO <γ, S12 determines the selected speed-change stage of the auxiliary transmission at the high-speed stage. Thus, the automatic transmission does not output a large torque exceeding a requested value in starting when a driver does not require a large output. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
