PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device for controlling a drain valve with hydraulic pressure of a feed pipe in a low tank device. SOLUTION: A hydraulic cylinder 10 is mounted to an overflow pipe 9 in a low tank 1, and a rod 11 connected to a piston in the hydraulic cylinder is connected to the drain valve 8 with a chain 12. A current switching valve 14 installed in the low tank 1 is respectively connected to the hydraulic cylinder 10 and a solenoid valve 13 with piping 17 and 16. The feed pipe 15 and the solenoid valve 13 connected to a cut-off valve 4 are connected with piping 18. When a driving current is outputted to the solenoid valve 13 from the controlling device 100, the solenoid valve 13 is in a valve opening state, flushing water from the feed pipe 15 flows in the hydraulic cylinder 10 through the piping and the current switching valve 14, and the rod 11 is pushed up with hydraulic pressure. The drain valve 8 is thereby separated from a valve seat of a drain pipe 7, and flushing water is made to flow into a toilet connected to the drain pipe 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
