PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition unit of stable ground connection, and long service life. SOLUTION: This device is provided with at least one conductive pin 1, a pin holder 2 including a metal ring 2.1 surrounding the pin 1 by leaving an annular recess, insulation filler 2.2 in the annular recess, a conductive bridge 2.3 or a semiconductor bridge between the metal ring 2.1 and the pin 1, a seal cap 3 connected to one surface side of the pin holder 2 to contain propellant, and a plug 5 connectable to the metal ring 2.1 at an end part apart from the seal cap 3 in a positive method or a negative method to be conductivity-connected to the pin 1 during operation. At least one element of the metal ring 2.1 or the plug 5, coating is provided between the plug 5 and the metal ring 2.1 in a section in mutual connection having a low electric resistance.
