PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a generation range of an image so that an image quality to be generated becomes high, when generating an image of high pixel density from a plurality of images of low pixel density. SOLUTION: First, a plurality of frame image data including a relatively low pixel density constituting an image, and mutually including a portion having an identical object recorded thereon, are prepared (S2). Then, based on the portion having the identical recorded object, relative positions of the images of a plurality of frame image data are calculated (S4). Thereafter, an image generation region which generates an image of relatively high pixel density constituting the image, and is included in the region having the recorded images of the plurality of frame image data is determined, based on the mutual relative positions of the images of the plurality of frame image data (S6).
