PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce light reflected from non-opening parts among micro lenses and the surfaces of the micro lenses so as to improve a solid state imaging device in both an S/N ratio and image quality, to reduce a distance under a lens so as to improve the lens in light condensing properties, and to enable the micro lenses to be easily processed and improved in heat-resistant properties. SOLUTION: The solid state imaging device comprises a photoelectric conversion element 32, a color filter 33, and a nearly hemispherical micro lens 36. The micro lens 36 of fluorine acrylic resin is formed on the top surface of the color filter 33, and a thin film 37 of fluorine acrylic resin is formed on the non-opening parts 39 among the micro lenses 36.
