PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical analysis device and its method for executing a highly precise numerical analysis of an area of a potential field including a thin plate structure without making it necessary to divide the area. SOLUTION: A boundary element analysis is performed based on a boundary element method by using an elementary solution having asymmetrical potential distribution geometry so that near singurarity can be prevented, and that the independency of a boundary element equation can be maintained. Also, the elementary solution is made to express an electric field when there is suction at one point at the central part of one face of a wall whose length is limited. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
