PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoconductive material capable of realizing an electrophotographic photoreceptor of high reliability which has high electrification potential, high sensitivity, sufficient photo-responsiveness, excellent durability, and no decrease in these characteristics even when the photoreceptor is used in a low temperature environment or in a high-speed process or subjected to exposure to light, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor and an image forming apparatus using the above material. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is constituted by loading the electrophotographic photoreceptor on it, and the electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured by containing an organic photoconductive material expressed by general formula (1) as a charge transport substance into the photosensitive layer.
