PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for medical inspection, where the durability of the cassette is improved and permeability in liquid medicine treatment is improved. SOLUTION: The cassette for medical inspection having a number of through holes 7 comprises a cassette body 1 made of a chemical-resistant resin, where the cassette body 1 is a square container for opening the upper surface and accommodating a specimen and has a number of through holes 3, and a lid 2 is detachably attached to the cassette body 1 by a tongue-piece-like locking section 11 perpendicularly provided on the back. In the cassette for medical inspection, a built-up section 11a for reinforcement is provided near the outer root of the tongue-piece-like locking section 11 of the lid 2, a projection 14 for forming a space section is formed close to at least four corners outside the surface, and at least one projection 15 for forming a space section is provided inside.
