PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a temporary drop of injecting pressure immediately after opening a valve of an injector without lowering fuel leakage protecting function of a flow limiter. SOLUTION: A common rail 2 accumulating and storing fuel pressurized by a pressure pump 1 and a injector 5 provided in each combustion chamber is connected through an injection passage 4 equipped with the flow limiter 3. Since a fuel reservoir 6 is provided on the injection passage 4 from the flow limiter 3 to the injector 5, the actual capacity of the injection passage 4 is increased, and therefore a temporary drop of the injecting pressure immediately after opening the valve of the injector 5 is avoided.
