PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve formability such as fusion prevention, line speed improvement, etc., in the use of formation method such as melt extrusion molding, molten film formation, melt spinning, etc., by raising the melt strength of a polyhydroxyalkanoate melt having inferior melt strength in melt processing and improving crystallization rate. SOLUTION: The poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) composition (ab) is obtained by mixing a poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) composition (a) having melt temperature Tm<SB>a</SB>with a poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) composition (b) having melt temperature Tm<SB>b</SB>(Tm<SB>b</SB>≥Tm<SB>a</SB>+5°C). The composition (ab) has melt viscosityη<SB>ab</SB>at an arbitrary temperature Te (Tm<SB>a</SB>≤Te≤T<SB>b</SB>) with relationη<SB>a</SB><η<SB>ab</SB>to melt viscosityη<SB>a</SB>at the Te of the composition (a).
