PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat having a safety belt height adjusting device capable of improving its operability. SOLUTION: This child seat is provided with a backrest 12 rising from a seat surface 11 and having a front surface part 121 and a back surface part 122. This child seat is further provided with a seat body 1 having a groove hole penetrating from the front surface part 121 to the back surface part 122, an adjusting tool having a rod shaped right and left seat frame 30 fixed on the back surface part 122 and having a plurality of fitting holes 301, a fitting body 31 slidably provided along the right and left seat frame 30 and having an entrance through which a safety belt 4 is inserted, a latch member 32 having one end part 322 fitted in the fitting hole 301 and the other end part 320 connected to the fitting body 31, and a driving body (a pushing member 33) movable along the longitudinal direction of the fitting body 31 and the orthogonal direction of the latch member 32. Furthermore, a connecting means, namely a moving rod 34, is provided so that the driving body 33 is connected to the latch member 32, the latch member 32 is moved to a second position released from a first position fitted in the fitting hole 301, and sliding of the fitting body 31 is restricted.
