摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method for producing a casting slab having greater concentration on a surface layer compared with the inside of the casting slab without limiting an added amount of alloy elements, casting mill, and casting slabs. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting method, a magnetic field of direct current having approximately uniform magnetic flux density distribution to a widthwise direction of a mold located downward than a starting point of solidification is applied to a widthwise direction, and molten steel is supplied to the downward of an applied field of a magnetic field of direct current while solute elements are added into a pool of molten steel located upper than a field applying the magnetic field of direct current. Molten steel in a pool upper than a field applying the magnetic field of direct current is heated, a starting point of solidification is set to be lower than the surface of molten steel, and casting slabs having different alloy composition at the surface layer and at an inner layer are cast.
