The drawer (1), moving on four castors, can be pushed into the space under the bottom of a shelving unit (2) or a cupboard. The bottom panel of the piece of furniture (2) is provided with two transversal grooves at its lower surface, serving as guide rails for a pair of vertical pins attached to each of the front corners of the drawer (1). The pins are held at a distance in a horizontally positioned rectangular element and are guided through helical springs into bores provided at the lateral panels of the drawer (1).
