PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information associated with a location requested by a communication terminal.

SOLUTION: This information providing method comprises: a step (S1002) for receiving information from a communication terminal; a step (S1004) for acquiring location data; a step (S1008) for acquiring the request of information provision; a step (S1200) for retrieving a terminal when the same request has not been made in the past (S1010: NO); a step (S1018) for transmitting a request to the terminal which fulfills conditions; a step (S1020) for receiving provided information; a step (S1022) for transmitting provided information; a step (S1024) for updating point information; a step (S1026) for transmitting the point information; and a step (S1028) for updating an information request recording table.
