<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope-deleted paramyxovirus vector. <P>SOLUTION: F gene-deleted virus virions are successfully collected using a genomic cDNA of F gene-deleted Sendai virus. F gene-deleted infective virus particles are successfully prepared using an F expression cell as a helper cell. F and HN gene-deleted virus virions are successfully collected using a genomic cDNA of a virus in which both F gene and HN gene are deleted. F and HN gene-deleted infective virus particles are successfully prepared using an F and HN expression cell as a helper cell. F and HN gene-deleted viruses having F protein are created using the F expression cell as a helper cell. VSV-G pseudo-type viruses are also successfully prepared using VSV-G expression cells.
