<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrophotographs having improved balance in low-temperature fixing properties, hot-offset-resistant properties, and shelf life. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for developing electrostatic charge images contains at least one type of a binding resin, where at least two types of resins are mixed, and a crystalline polyester resin (resin (C)) whose melting point is in the range of 80°C-140°C, and a wax (W) whose penetration is 1.5 or smaller and the melting point is in the range of 80-110°C. The binding resin comprises resin (A) that has the softening point of 120-170°C, glass transition point of 58-75°C, and a chloroform insoluble fraction of 5-50 percentage by mass; and resin (B) that has the softening point of 90-120°C and the glass transition point (Tg) of 58-75°C. The chloroform insoluble fraction of the binding resin, where the resins (A) and (B) are mixed, is smaller than 30 mass percent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
