<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transmittable reflecting laminated polyester film which has both of the visibility of liquid crystal display due to both of transmitted light and reflected light and film forming stability by adjusting the melting point difference of polyester components constituting a laminated polyester film and the surface of a laminate and is suitable for the liquid crystal display, and a liquid crystal display using it. <P>SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented laminated polyester film comprises at least two layers, that is, a polyester layer (A) containing inert particles and a polyester layer (B) containing a pearl pigment. The semi-transmittable reflecting laminated polyester film is characterized in that the melting point of the polyester forming the layer (A) is higher than that of the polyester forming the layer (B) by 15°C or abovce, the three-dimensional surface average roughness (SRa) on the side of the polyester layer (A) is 20 nm or below and the light transission of the laminated polyester film satisfies formula (I): (linear light transmission/total light transmission)×100≥10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
