TRAY AND RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray capable of preventing double feeding of mediums having various sizes and to provide a recording device provided with the tray and a liquid injection device. SOLUTION: A medium storage part 210 is constituted in many steps where it is extendable in the direction of feeding of the medium. A double feeding prevention means 217 for preventing double feeding of the mediums piled up and stored in the medium storage part is arranged. The medium storage part is formed in such a way that dimension in the direction crossing the direction of feeding of the medium in the medium storage part orthogonally is larger than dimension in the direction crossing the direction of feeding of the medium having the maximum usable size orthogonally to stack and store mediums having various usable sizes and feed the stacked and stored mediums securely in order starting from the medium at the uppermost layer.
