PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puzzle box that can exhibit random and irregular surface design variations and demonstrate an interesting property by providing puzzle-type elements to many slide panels. SOLUTION: The puzzle box 21 has slide panels 1 fitted into box frame openings formed by dividing the box in the form of a lattice, leaving a space portion 39. By sliding up and down and horizontally the slide panels 1 adjacent to the space portion 39, you can take out objects stored in the box frame as the occasion may demand. In the slide panel 1, an engagement collar portion is formed on the upper edge portion and a side edge portion of a core plate fitted between a front panel and a rear panel, and an engaged groove portion 6a is concavely provided on the other edge portion and the lower edge portion of the core plate.
