PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass paste of which the binder contained in the vehicle of the paste does not influence a glass powder in firing and does not cause the deterioration of the powder. SOLUTION: The glass paste is composed of a sealing material containing an SnO-containing glass powder and a vehicle containing a binder composed of polyethylene glycol derivative and/or polyethylene carbonate.
