PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input circuit for tension detectors of a tension controller which can dispense with a gain changeover means, does not require an exchange of wiring conductors by miswiring, and is easy to perform start-up adjustment work. SOLUTION: This input circuit for tension detectors is provided with each zero-adjusted value storage means which stores as a zero-adjusted value 28, 36, a value obtained by removing high-frequency noises with a low-pass filter 26, 34 from each input signal inputted when zero adjustment is performed in each left or right tension detector, and performing its A/D conversion with an A/D converter 27, 35 after that, and each span-adjusted value storage means which stores as a span-adjusted value 29, 37, a value obtained similarly by removing high-frequency noises from each input signal inputted when span adjustment is performed, and performing its A/D conversion after that. Moreover, this input circuit is provided with each tension value computing means which converts into a left or right tension input value 32, 40, based on the zero-adjusted value and the span-adjusted value, a value obtained by removing high-frequency noises from an input signal inputted when the tension of a measuring object is measured, and performing its A/D conversion after that, and an addition means 41 which adds those values 32, 40 and outputs a detected tension value 42.
