PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced digital camera and method having preview choices. SOLUTION: A preview mode (50) for the digital camera (10) for displaying two or more substitute interpretations for a recorded photographing image and a method (60) related thereto are disclosed.
