<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk with various good points that the desk is convenient when using a personal computer, communication with family is increased, studying etc. is carried out in a right posture, and the desk is neatly unified while it is not used. <P>SOLUTION: The desk is provided with: a main top plate 1; an auxiliary top plate 4 arranged over the rear part of the main top plate 1; and a leg device 5 for supporting them. The main top plate 1 consists of a front part 2 and a side part 3; and the front part 2 can freely be slid forward and backward. A chair 6 is connected to the front part of the leg device 5 in a horizontally turnable state. Since the side part 3 can be used as a counter for talking etc. with the family, the desk contributes to the increase in communication in the family.
