<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom in the designing of the head in a manufacturing method of a golf club head wherein a different metal is provided on the head body. <P>SOLUTION: The head body for an iron type is formed of a raw material body 13 made of a forgeable metal raw material, and a metal 12 which is built in the raw material body 13, has an approximately equal or smaller specific gravity to the raw material body 13, and also, has different components. By having the built-in different metal 12 in the upper part of the head body which is a location other than the sole, the weight reduction of the head can be contrived. Especially, by having the built-in different metals 12 in the upper part of the face which is a location other than the sole side in the face, a low specific gravity or a low gravity center can be contrived as a whole together with the weight reduction of the head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
