PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a rotating electric machine by preventing generation of self-oscillation in the rotating electric machine rotating at a high speed. SOLUTION: In this rotating electric machine 55, a rotor 34 mounted with a permanent magnet 36 and a stator having a coil 40 disposed so as to face the rotor are supported by a radial bearing 38. A ring-shaped cover 37 is provided on the outer periphery side of the permanent magnet to use the radial baring as a water lubrication bearing.
