PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a very fine mesh pattern with high accuracy and to easily manufacture an electromagnetic shielding light transmitting window material with a conductive mesh pattern 5 excellent in durability and adhesion to a transparent board 1 having a numerical aperture of 75% or above. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electromagnetic shielding light transmitting window material comprises steps of forming a pattern on a transparent board by the use of material dissolvable in a solvent, depositing a conductive layer formed of conductive material that is hardly dissolved in the solvent, and then removing the pattern and the conductive layer on the pattern with the solvent to form a conductive pattern.
