PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector with a built-in semiconductor device having a function as a connector free in separating a line at failure and at maintenance and inspection as in a vehicle-loaded power source line, an electric breaking function equal with an electromagnetic relay at normal times, and capable of conducting and breaking high-capacity electricity such as the vehicle-loaded power source line with an element of a fairly small loss resistance. SOLUTION: The connector with the built-in semiconductor device is so structured that semiconductor switches 2a, 2b using wide-band-gap semiconductors in a connector case 1 of a male connector C<SB>1</SB>is fitted on a drain plate 3, sources 2s, 2s of semiconductor switches 2a, 2b connecting between connecting terminals with the drain plate 3 to which a power line 6w at an input side is connected as an input terminal and with a protruded terminal 4 as an output terminal are connected to the protruded terminal, control signals from a control signal line 6c are inputted to either gate 2g, 2g to conduct and break electricity of the semiconductor switches 2a, 2b, and a large current from the power line 6w is to be effectively connected to the input terminal with low power loss.
