PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcoat to be applied to a windshield of a motor-bicycle which can make a frontward confirmation easy in a drive in rainy weather owing to its excellent water repellency and also can reduce deterioration and damage of the shield surface caused by scraping wiper and by flying stone owing to its high coating effect. SOLUTION: The overcoat to be applied to a windshield of a motor-bicycle comprises a glass film layer 1 which is formed by a single- or multi-component metal oxide glass film set on a surface of a base material (a) of the shield.
