PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition containing mainly a potassium salt of a fatty acid and an amphoteric surfactant, excellent in a low temperature stability, and having a good foaming property and use feeling. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition having a good foaming property and use feeling, and excellent in low temperature stability is provided by containing mainly the potassium salt of a fatty acid, the amphoteric surfactant containing potassium chloride as a byproduct salt and as necessary, a second anionic surfactant and an inorganic salt or at least 1 kind selected from organic acid salts except for the potassium salt of the fatty acid, especially by blending the second anionic surfactant containing potassium ion as a counter ion and the inorganic salt containing potassium ion as the counter ion or at least 1 kind of a component containing potassium and selected from the organic acid salts except for the potassium salt of the fatty acid.
