PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity in a usual use state by constituting a structure for moderating side collision impact without forming a fragile section due to a through hole, thinning, or the like, near an interior part body such as an armrest of a door trim body. SOLUTION: In this interior part for the vehicle, an upper-trim-side flange section 17 of an upper trim 12 formed by vertical division into two is stacked on a lower-trim-side mounting flange section 16 of a lower trim 13, a mounting boss 18 on the lower-trim-side flange section 16 side is inserted and attached into a mounting hole 19 of the upper-trim-side flange section 17, and the integral door trim body 11 is thus constituted. The mounting hole 19 is made long in the vertical direction of the door trim body 11, and the mounting boss 18 is moved to the lower end side wall surface of the mounting hole 19 to form a space section 19a on the upside of the mounting hole 19. At the time of side collision, the mounting boss 18 is moved into the space section 19a to deform an lower arm 11 with respect to the upper trim 12 to absorb side collision impact.
