PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the angle of projection and reception of a photoelectric sensor must be manually adjusted by a worker. SOLUTION: A spherical object packaging apparatus 9 having a packaging mechanism 3 in which a spherical object 101 is thrown in from an upper part of a film 102 developed over a throw-in port 11, and bound by drawing a peripheral edge portion of the film 102 to cover the spherical object 101 has a lever 73 to push the spherical object 101 into the packaging apparatus 9, and a switch 82 which is turned ON when the lever is pushed downward and turned OFF when the lever is pushed upward.
