PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire assembly decreasing noise due to cavity resonance using a tire inner cavity as a column of air, and suppressing increase in vehicular weight and vehicular cost. SOLUTION: The tire assembly 1 comprises a wheel 1 disposed in a center part, a tire 20 installed to the wheel 10, and a Helmholtz type or side-branch type silencer 30 arranged in the tire inner cavity 3 formed between the tire 20 and the wheel 10. The silencer 30 is oppositely disposed to a center axis line S of the wheel 10, and a projecting portion 35 provided on the silencer 30 is clipped between a bead portion 21 of the tire 20 and a flange 16 of the wheel 10, thereby fixing and holding the silencer 30 in the tire inner cavity 3. A resonance chamber 37 in the silencer 30 has a capacity having natural frequency equal to cavity resonance frequency using the tire inner cavity 3 as the the column. The silencer 30 is made of material that can be deformed, and an installing recessed portion 15 capable of storing a container 31 of the silencer 30 is formed on a rim body 14.
