PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a molded body which causes no crack in the molded body and can make a pattern material exposed on the surface of the molded body. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the molded body 4, a molding material 2 having fluidity is laid on top of one side of a filmlike body 1 prepared by dispersively mixing granular pattern materials 11 and 12 in a water-soluble synthetic resin 13 and a pressure is applied to integrate the molding material and the filmlike body into a preliminary molded body 3. Then, the water-soluble synthetic resin 13 of the surface layer of the preliminary molded body 3 is removed by elution and the pattern materials 11 and 12 are exposed on the surface of the molded body 4.
