PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which is used for a base for a reflector or the base of a receiving sheet and capable of reducing a film thickness and enhancing optical characteristics and productivity. SOLUTION: This film is constituted by alternately laminating layers A and B of a polyester resin. The layer A is made nearer to the outermost surface layer than the layer B at least on one side of the film. In the film, the whole of the laminated film contains inorganic and/or organic particles by 31-80 wt.%. The optical density is 1.2 or above and the average value of an absolute specular reflectance in a wavelength region of 400-700 nm is 2.0% or above, while the average value of a total luminous relative reflectance is 90% or above.
