<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage phosphor member having high luminance and a long afterglow time and to provide a marking tool equipped with the storage phosphor member. <P>SOLUTION: The storage phosphor member 1 contains a granular storage phosphor 10 mixed in a transparent resin 11. The phosphor 10 contains a phosphor 10 having 100 to 3,000 μm grain size by 80 vol.% to 100 vol.% of the whole phosphor 10, and the phosphor 10 is included by 60 to 95 vol.% of the whole storage phosphor member 1.
