<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing cracks of a honeycomb structure in preparing the honeycomb structure by bonding a plurality of honeycomb segments with an adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb structure is prepared by bonding two or more honeycomb segments 2 which are divided by porous partitions and which has numerous flowing apertures penetrated in the axis direction through the adhesive 9.
