PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make images formed by a copying machine or the like have the same picture quality even in the case based on image data in the copying machine or the like and in the case based on image data received by a client PC or the like in the copying machine or the like capable of transmitting the image data outside.

SOLUTION: When a main controller receives an image capture request signal from an outside PC (Y of step S1), it determines an image parameter value in a data format converter from an attribute of an image to be requested which is included in the image capture request signal received from the PC and an attribute of the image data accumulated in a hard disk which receives the image capture request (step S2). Then, according to the image data parameter value, a data format of the image data accumulated in the hard disk is converted into image data of another data format (step S3) by the data format converter, and the image data after conversion are transmitted to the PC (step S4).
